The Speech Table is a place where children and families in Lakeway, Texas can come to learn how to be more effective in social communication and to connect with the world around them. The Speech Table provides speech and language therapy that focuses on social awareness and learning how to relate to the world around us!

SOCIAL COMMUNICATION THERAPY
Connecting to the World Around You
We all communicate to be social and to make connections with others. In therapy, we focus on increasing social awareness, maintaining a state of emotional regulation, and finding strategies that will ensure success in various environments.
This therapy includes working with children with autism, ADD/ADHD, social anxiety disorder, social communication disorders and language delays.
DELAYED LANGUAGE DEVELOPMENT
Late Talkers
Sometimes your child just isn't progressing in speech and language development and you need some direction and strategies. I worked in early intervention for many years and am Hanen certified in their program It Takes Two To Talk. Whether your child is just exhibiting delayed language development, or you are worried there may be more going on, I am here to evaluate, treat, and design a program and strategies to meet your family's needs and help your child progress.
MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS
Continued Support
Support for social communication delays and disorders needs to be a priority that continues into middle and high school. The social and academic expectations only continue to increase as our kids get older and sometimes it can seem like the support and services decrease. I am here to evaluate, provide treatment, consult, and develop individualized plans to continue progress and support.
I have been a speech language pathologist working with children and families for 15 years, with a specialty in working with children with autism and social difficulties My passion is helping children communicate to the best of their ability and to understand the social world around them.
Every child and family is unique and I love the challenge of learning what is going to help children feel successful, feel they have a voice, and find some joy.
