MY BACKGROUND

I graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas with my Masters in Speech Language Pathology.  I began working for Early Childhood Intervention in Mckinney, Texas ,specializing in children with autism. I quickly grew to develop a passion for these families and children and helping them navigate the complex world of this diagnosis.  I went on to work in the Plano schools preschool program for children with special needs as well as doing private therapy with children with autism as well.  
After taking some time off when I had my children,  I had the privilege of working at the Rocky Mountain Autism Clinic, in Denver ,with Dr. Patrick Rydell, one of the leading experts in autism for four years.  Under his mentorship, I utilized the SCERTS model and his Learning Style Profile to provide treatment that focused on the whole child and family dynamics, as well as promoting increased social communication. 
I am a Texas girl at heart, though,  and we found our way back to the Hill Country
and couldn't be happier.  We are so thankful we chose Lakeway for our home and feel grateful to be a part of this special Lake Travis community.  I have a husband and three children, and my sweet little Fozzy dog. We love getting
out and exploring Austin and the Hill Country as well as sitting on our back porch with a great meal , watching these Texas sunsets!
